薛永恒教授

薛永恒教授於1984年加入政府，並於2017年晉升為機電工程署署長兼機電工程營運基金總經理，負責香港的機電安全、能源效益和節約工作，以及為香港特區政府的機電資產提供工程服務，同時協助香港的創新科技發展，培育以及推廣智慧和綠色城市計劃。薛永恒教授於2020年4月獲委任為創新及科技局局長。他獲香港特區政府頒授金紫荊星章，以表揚他對社會的傑出貢獻，他亦被香港特區政府委任為太平紳士。

薛教授現為香港工程師學會秘書長，及是香港浸會大學校長資深顧問，並創新、𨍭化及政策研究院的顧問，他亦是香港理工大學的實務教授及香港浸會大學的名譽教授。他也是建造業議會成員。

薛教授是一名專業電機工程師，在公共行政方面擁有超過40年的經驗。彼為香港工程師學會資深會員。並曾任香港設施管理學會會長，香港工程師學會生物醫學部主席及香港工程師學會核子科學部的榮譽秘書。

薛教授獲香港理工大學認可為傑出校友。他亦持有香港中文大學工商管理碩士學位，並畢業于哈佛商學院的綜合管理課程。

Prof Sit is an electrical engineer by profession and has over 40 years’ experience in public administration. He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He was the President of the Hong Kong Institution of Facility Management, Chairman of the Biomedical Division and Secretary of the Nuclear Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Prof Sit is recognized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as its Outstanding Alumni. He also holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School of its General Management Programme.
