Mr. Leon Yoong

Leon Yoong is a veteran product development leader with over 30 years of experience across consumer electronics, power tools, and telecoms spanning North America, Asia, Australasia, and Europe.

He has dedicated two decades to advancing Hong Kong’s industries through innovative design. Specializing in integrating sustainability, circular economy principles, and artificial intelligence, Leon leads a large multidisciplinary team at Techtronic Industries whose work has earned over 100 internationally recognized design awards.

He is known for embedding responsible innovation at the core of business strategy. Leon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from RMIT University and an Executive MBA from HKUST and Kellogg School of Management.
