Ir Prof Sunny Lee Wai-kwong is the Board Chairman of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited and an independent non-executive director of SUNeVision Holdings Ltd., MTR Corporation Limited, and BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited.

A veteran in innovation and technology leadership, Ir Prof Lee has over 40 years of experience, including roles as Vice President (Administration) at City University of Hong Kong, Executive Director of IT at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, and CIO of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited.

Previously, Ir Prof Lee served as Vice President and Systems Director at Bank of America in Hong Kong. Educated at Cornell University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, Ir Prof Lee has also held key IT positions in finance, consulting, and manufacturing in the US.
