Mr. Edward Lau

Edward Lau is Chairman of Innovation and Transformation Committee at the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Industries Association.

He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the digital technology sector across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, and the ASEAN region. He previously was the General Manager - Asia Pacific at Kingdee International Software Group (HKEX Main Board; Hang Seng Tech Index) and the former COO of ASEAN at sa.global (Microsoft Gold Partner 11-times Partner of Year Award).

Currently, Edward holds multiple leadership and advisory roles: founder of EI Technologies; co-founder of Synitech; Partner (AI & Data) at the Hong Kong Center of Data Asset Trading and Applications, and advisor to a global AI startup company.

 

Edward actively serves the professional community in various capacities, including Vice Chairman of IT Committee at the Institute of Certified Management Accountants Australia; Vice Chairman of New Economy Committee at the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association; Founding Member of the Hong Kong Data Assets Management Association; Council Member of iProA; and WealthTech Council Member of the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia.
