Edward Lau is Chairman of Innovation and Transformation Committee at the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Industries Association.

He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the digital technology sector across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Southeast Asia. He has a track record of delivering complex digital transformation programmes, enterprise solutions, and AI strategy implementations at scale, working with clients spanning retail, manufacturing, logistics, and public sector organisations.

Currently, Edward holds multiple leadership and advisory roles: founder of EI Technologies; co-founder of Synitech; Partner at Sonicboom; Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society's AI & Robotics Special Interest Group; and Member of the HKEIA's IT Committee.

Edward actively serves the professional community in various capacities, including Vice Chairman of IT Committee at the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA); Vice Chairman of the Smart Technology Sub-committee under The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong; Member of the Digital Transformation Committee at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce; and Member of IT Committee at the Federation of Hong Kong Industries.
