Mr. Jeffrey Lam GBM GBS JP is an Honorary Advisor of HKAIIA. He is Chairman of the Vocational Training Council and a Non-official Member of the Executive Council of the HKSAR, with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and business.

About Jeffrey Lam GBM GBS JP


​Mr. Jeffrey Lam has over 40 years of experience in the commercial and industrial sectors, covering manufacturing, business promotion, IT development, and investment. He is currently a Non-official Member of the Executive Council of the HKSAR and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director for several listed companies in Hong Kong.

Mr. Lam’s current roles include:

Chairman of the Vocational Training Council

Member of the Advisory Committee on the Northern Metropolis of the HKSAR

Member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board

Council Member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce

General Committee Member of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries

Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council

Honorary Member of the PolyU Court

Mr. Lam was also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Legislative Council of HKSAR, and a general committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lam has also been actively involved in other public services. He was a Member of the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) for eight years. He also served as Chairman of the Complaints Committee of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and as a Non-Executive Director of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited.

Mr. Lam received the “Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong” in 1989 and the “Outstanding Achievement Award – Hong Kong Toys Industry” in 1999. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the commercial and industrial sectors, he was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1996, awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2011, and honored with the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2023.
